Fiducian Financial Services Born in Scotland, Murdo studied Zoology and Oceanography at Edinburgh University before completing post-graduate studies in Behavioural Ecology in Manchester. Following his arrival in Australia Murdo enjoyed a successful career as a broadcast journalist with the ABC, working as a; science reporter, radio producer, documentary writer and current affairs journalist in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle before transferring his skill and enthusiasm to the field of financial planning. Murdo has always believed in the importance of values-based investing and has always encouraged his clients to undertake a broader consideration of their investment objectives when establishing their investment portfolios. Ultimately such considerations have proven rewarding for clients on multiple levels, achieving solid risk-adjusted investment returns while contributing to long-term sustainability. Through a process of education, awareness and active involvement, Murdo believes that investors can be catalysts for change in helping to create a sustainable and equitable future. With more than 21-years of financial planning experience Murdo is a Certified Financial Planner as well as a member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia and the Financial Planning Association.
