Each year since 2002 RIAA has commissioned research into the size and growth of responsible investment in Australia and New Zealand. The objective of this research is to gather data on the various forms of responsible investment and to present analysis of growth in the sector in comparison with the total investment market.
RIAA’s Responsible Investment Benchmarking Survey is the only report of its kind in Australasia and is quoted extensively in the media and in industry papers around the world.

In Australia, we recently tipped over half of the professionally managed market having a commitment to responsible investment, whether that be taking an ethical investing approach, or, more commonly, incorporating the consideration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decision-making to improve investment risk profiles.
