Dr Rodger Spiller is New Zealand’s most experienced and qualified ethical and responsible investment advisor and a global pioneer in the ethical investment field. Rodger established Money Matters (NZ) Limited in 1990. In the past thirty years he has served as a specialist investment adviser continuously setting and raising the standard of advice in New Zealand.

Rodger completed a Bachelor of Commerce in 1983, winning the Senior Prize in Accountancy for research on accounting for business social responsibility, then qualified as a Chartered Accountant.  He holds a Master of Commerce degree (1990) (First Class Honours) and a doctorate in ethical investment and business.

He is a former Member of the Securities Commission, served on the Nominating Committee for the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, as a Director of Transparency International (NZ) and Oxfam (NZ), as a Director and Chairman of the Association of Investment Advisers and Financial Planners and for ten years as a Director of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia.  He has recently served as a Member of the Technical Working Group for the New Zealand Sustainable Finance Forum.

Rodger is a is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) and Certified Financial Adviser with the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA).
